Weerama 2009 will feature a number of events that will require the completion of entry forms prior to the event. These events include the Weerama Parade, the Craft Market and many more events. This page will include downloadable entry forms and/or contact details for entry forms and event information. All entry forms are in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format.

Weerama 2009 Activity / Event Registration
Anyone wishing to participate in the 2009 Weerama Festival and has not as yet received an Application Form should download the Weerama 2009 Activity Form. The form and supporting information should be returned to the Festival Co-0rdinator, Heather Marcus as soon as possible. This can be done by e-mail, fax or by mail as indicated below.
The Festival Committee wishes to encourage all participants to make a special effort and get into the spirit of Weerama and utilise the theme "To Play" and help make Weerama 2009 one of the best yet.
The Weerama Festival Aims are:
- To Showcase local culture, talent, skills and creativity
- To promote local groups, societies, clubs and organisations
- To contribute to the forging of a local identity
- To provide an opportunity for Wyndham's diverse community to get together and participate in a host of exciting, interesting and fun activities.
The best way for your group to assist in fulfilling these goals is to be part of the 2009 Weerama Festival, organise an activity and promote your group and the City of Wyndham.

Werribee Plaza Young Idol Competition 2009
The Werribee Plaza Young Idol Competition 2009 will be held on Sunday 29th March 2009 on the Main Stage on Watton Street. Entry to the event is by entry form that must be submitted with a DVD or CD of the proposed performance.
Performers are required to be between 8 and 21 years of age by 1st January 2009. This is an event not to be missed so please get your entry form and supporting media in as soon as possible.

STALLS & DISPLAY STANDS are avalable for Sunday 29th March 2009.
Sites will be available for the sale of quality items such as plants, clothing, leather goods, pottery/ceramics,
giftware and general art and craft items..
An application form must be completed to have a stall or display at this very popular Weerama Event.

The Weerama Craft Market is to be held on Sunday 29th March 2009 between 10:00am and 5:00pm in its new location in Watton Street, Werribee. The market has a great new location right in the middle of all the Weerama Activities. An application form must be completed to have a stall at this very popular Weerama Event. If so we would love to hear from you.
Your contribution may include composting, worm farms, mulching, veggie gardens, indigenous plant species,
rainwater and graywater systems, habitat for local fauna or any other sustainable garden ideas.

Lions' Weerama Procession will be held on Sunday 29th March 2009.
Procession Entry forms can be printed off by clicking on this Weerama Procession Entry Form link
All Local Groups and Enterprises are welcome. The Procession is a good chance to showcase and tell the community about yourself.
The Weerama Procession theme for 2009 is "To Play" which is sure to be a lot of fun.
Entries can be small - a car and trailer, suitably decorated and with a thematic flavour - or large - a semi trailer or/with hundreds of people -
and be from groups of only a few people through to large commercial businesses. The aim is to have an entry which is safe, colourful, thematic and
where everyone, participants and spectators, can have fun and enjoy themselves.
